The Fife LEADER rural grants programme is looking for new members to implement its strategy for the 2014 – 2020 Programme.
The Local Action Group manages the delivery of the programme, including the development of rural projects, awarding financial support and overseeing the programme administration.
Members are being sought from across the public, voluntary and private sectors to ensure a good mix of skills covering the rural areas of Fife. The role of the LAG member will be both rewarding and demanding, but offers a unique opportunity to influence local development in rural Fife.
Do you think you have the skills to assist rural community groups and businesses to realise their goals and make their futures more sustainable? Do you have experience of rural issues and community activities? Or perhaps you have more specific experience in the fisheries or tourism sectors, renewable industries or running a rural business? If so, then Fife LEADER would like to hear from you.
For more information or an informal discussion with existing LAG Members come along to our networking session from 8.30 am on Tuesday 22nd September at Volunteer House, 69-73 Crossgates, Cupar, KY15 5AS.
